WHEELCHAIR TENNIS
Para-Tennis brings together Wheelchair Tennis and Deaf and Hard of Hearing Tennis. It is designed for individuals with physical impairments that prevent standing play, as well as anyone with a hearing impairment. Para-Tennis adapts the sport to accommodate specific disabilities while fully upholding the core values of tennis.
Wheelchair
Integrated into the FFT (French Tennis Federation) since 2017, Para-Tennis brings together Wheelchair Tennis and Deaf and Hard of Hearing Tennis around a shared passion.
Available in singles or doubles, tennis is open to individuals with physical disabilities requiring wheelchair play, as well as players who are deaf, hard of hearing, or visually impaired.
We offer both group and individual wheelchair tennis lessons, coached by a state-certified instructor.
Every year, we host a national Women’s Wheelchair Tournament as well as dedicated wheelchair tennis training camps.
In 2020, the 2nd Crédit Mutuel Wheelchair Trophy brought together 8 elite athletes from all across France.
Adapted Tennis
Adaptive Tennis is the result of a partnership between the French Adapted Sports Federation (FFSA) and the French Tennis Federation (FFT). It shares one single goal: enabling individuals with intellectual disabilities to play tennis.
Guided by our core motto, “Tennis for Everyone,” our club project in Huningue offers group tennis sessions tailored for young people with disabilities.
